Traditional 16th Century Blind Tarn Cottage in Grasmere is a delightful traditional property peacefully situated at the end of a gated road running through a pretty Westmorland farm. Beautiful walks towards Easedale Tarn are straight from the cottage door and the cottage is perfectly placed for touring Wordsworth Country with walking trails to Rydal Water also direct from the door. The two famous Wordsworth properties, Dove Cottage and Rydal Mount are both within easy reach. Pets are welcome in the property which offers an idyllic rural Central Lakes holiday base for groups.
Our Grasmere cottage accommodates six guests and has three spacious bedrooms including two doubles and a twin bedroom. The bathroom has a pretty white suite and includes a bath and character stable door. The classic country kitchen diner is immaculately presented with bright tiling, a microwave, integrated oven and a pine dining table with seating for six. Enchanting original features in the cottage include old exposed oak beams, pretty deep-silled windows and the property has antique furnishings throughout.

Changeover day for weekly bookings is a Saturday. Grasmere village is just two miles from the property and contains a wealth of specialist craft shops, fine inns and riverside cafes.
