Lake District Bed & Breakfast in Peaceful, Rural Setting In 25 Acre Grounds With Two Small Lakes With Lots Of Birds And Wildlife

Lake District Bed & Breakfast The lodge is made of traditional Lakeland stone and has an attractive paved courtyard with fishpond, flowerbeds, pergola and seating, plus two private lakes perfect for an evening stroll.

Inside are 9 ensuite bedrooms, a mixture of doubles, twins and singles and one family room, some with a bath some with a shower and one room even has both! Our bigger rooms are perfect for longer stays. There is a grand four-poster bed in our largest room. All rooms have colour TV and refreshment tray, are decorated in a light, bright style and are beautifully clean. Our cosy lounge and honesty bar will add to your relaxation and we have a good selection of books about local walks and attractions. In the evenings we offer sandwiches plus we produce a list of good restaurants and pubs close by serving quality food. The breakfast menu is extensive and caters for all tastes. For a short or long stay in the Lake District, Land Ends is a lovely and informal place to stay.

Rooms Description

Room 1 (large double with bath) This is a large upstairs double room with a 5’ bed, matching cherrywood furniture, and bathroom with a bath. A pretty view from the window looks onto our back garden and shrubbery. The settee doubles as a single bed for a child if needed. Cot available if needed. Rooms 2 and 3 (singles) 2 single rooms one with an ensuite bathroom the other with ensuite shower. Both are upstairs and offer good views of the trees and woodland. Room 4 (standard double with bath) A pretty upstairs double room with ensuite bath and plenty of character. Exposed beams and traditional slit windows add to the rustic feel. The view looks onto the herb garden and paved courtyard. Room 6 (large double with bath and shower) This large double room on the ground floor has two bathrooms one with shower the other with bath. This room is particularly suited to those wanting a longer stay. It has comfortable seating and coffee table and looks out onto the paved courtyard and pond area. Rooms 7 and 8 (standard double with shower) These ground floor rooms are light and airy and look out over our paved courtyard and pond. Both rooms have ensuite showers. Room 9 (spacious twin room with bath) Our twin room has a very quiet ground floor location on its own. The room is very pretty with lots of exposed stonework and has views over the gardens. Room 10 (grand room with 5' four poster and shower) A very large room with wonderful four poster and original beamed ceiling. This is a luxury room with lovely views of the grounds and courtyard.
