Welcome to Elm Tree Lodge Guesthouse, a family run B&B situated in Keswick. We provide very high quality Bed and Breakfast on a year round basis. We have 2 double en suites, a twin en suite and a double room with a private bathroom so you can be assured that you will have a very exclusive stay with us. We have equipped the rooms to the highest standard provide one of the finest breakfasts. We use free range eggs, locally bought produce where possible and Fairtrade products to ensure that what goes on your plate is, in terms of taste and quality, the finest available. You will not be disappointed with your stay.

Elm Tree Lodge is situated in a quiet location within a few minutes' walk of the town centre of Keswick. The town offers a whole range of attractions including cafes, galleries, museums, shops, restaurants, pubs and a selection of beautiful parks. Close to the Bed and Breakfast there is the scenic lake of Derwentwater with fabulous views across to the northern fells of The Lake District. Keswick stands at the entrance to the valley of Borrowdale which gives easy access to the northern and central Lakeland fells. Tim Mosedale, who runs the B&B, is also a Mountaineering Instructor and Everest summiteer. If you are staying at our Bed and Breakfast you can easily sign up for a rock climbing course or brush up on your Navigation skills. Tim also gives slide shows (prior arrangement necessary) at the Guesthouse about his trip to Everest with rare 360 degree panoramic summit footage.

Rooms Description

All our rooms have been furnished to the highest standard and we have strived to create as pleasant an atmosphere as possible. We want you to enjoy your stay with us in comfort and style. We have 2 double en-suite rooms, a twin en-suite room and a double room with a private bathroom. The en-suites are equipped with showers, heated towel rails, huge mirrors and shaver sockets. The double room with private bathroom has a hand basin in the room and exclusive use of a bathroom with a modern walk in shower with a vertical shower tower that has double shower heads and twin body jets. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities provided as standard, along with a television and hair dryer. There are also chests of drawers, bed side cabinets and hanging rails or hooks depending on the layout of the room. We also provide a locally produced handmade soap in each en-suite and in the bathroom. These are for you to use during your stay but we ask that you leave them on departure.

Specialities

Very tastefully decorated to a very high standard and run by Everest Summiteer Tim Mosedale. Private slide shows available. We also have secure storage for mountain bikes.
