Eskdale House is a large Victorian house that was built around 1850. The house has an interesting history and at one time was a boarding house for Calder Girls School. The front of the house overlooks the Irish sea, to the side and rear are views of the well known Seascale Golf course and the Western Lake District fells beyond.
The bed and breakfast is ideally situated for those who are cycling the Hadrians Wall cycle way route. The popular areas of Coniston,Keswick and Ambleside are also easy to get to for a days walking. Guests have the use of their own sitting room with Sky TV and broadband internet connection is available free of charge.
