All with colour TV's Derwentlea Guest House is situated in a quiet conservation area with Private car park, just five minutes walk from the city centre. The location suits both tourists who visit historic Carlisle and professionals who need the convenience of being close to the city centre. Visitors can view our guide to local attractions which of course includes Hadrian's Wall.
We cater for families and can provide family rooms, cots and highchairs. A ground floor room is available for the less mobile vistor. We welcome walkers and cyclists and have drying and laundry facilities in addition to secure lockable storage for equipment. Packed lunches can be provided on request. Evening meals can also be provided (bring your own wine) and special diets can be catered for.
We can provide double, twin and single rooms all with en suite facilities. Special breaks are available for christmas and new year, valentines weekend, Hadrians Wall, bird watching and golf breaks. These breaks are inclusive of dinner-please call for details.
Derwentlea can provide the perfect location for a conference. The conference room must be booked with accommodation which is available for £30 per person per night. We can seat up to 22 persons.

Derwentlea Guest House is situated on the corner of a quiet street in the heart of a conservation area, yet only minutes walk from the city centre. If coming from the North or South take junction 43 off the M6. Drive along Warwick Road and we are the third turning on the right after St. Aidans church. If arriving by train we can arrange to meet you at the station.
