Ideally situated, 15 minutes from Lake Windermere yet only 5 minutes from M6 J36 or Oxenholme main line station. The historic town of Kendal is approximately 1 mile away where you can find a good choice of restaurants.
There are plenty of things to see and do in the local area. Guests can visit nearby Kendal and sample some of the famous Kendal Mint Cake, or be entertained at The Brewery Arts Centre, Levens Hall, Abbot Hall, Low Sizergh Farm, Beatrix Potter and many more. The area is also ideal for taking a gentle stroll, a longer ramble or just relaxing in the garden.

The guest accommodation is located in the East Wing and comprises 3 double en-suite rooms and a twin en-suite. A double & the twin room can be joined to form a family suite for up to 4 people. Each room has a colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms are spacious and furnished to a very high standard. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the dining room or relax in the guest lounge before enjoying a stroll around the grounds.

Stay in a one of the original Manor houses of Kendal surrounded by counrtyside and views with Kendal only 1mile away. Space to relax and unwind in 3 acres of mature garden. Also available is a 17thC self catering cottage located on the banks of the River Leven near Newby Bridge, in the Lake District National Park. The cottage accommodates up to seven people and is available all year.

Directions
From M6 Junction 36 take the A590 (dual carriageway) towards Kendal . The A590 becomes the A591 after passing the Barrow/Grange turning. After BP Garages on opposite sides of the carriageway take the turning to Kendal South passing underneath dual carriageway. After 200 yards turn up the lane first left immediately after the Kendal Town sign, which is just after the 40 mph speed zone sign. After 100 yards turn right at the 'T' junction, go over the bridge and bear left up the driveway to Helsington Laithes Manor.
