A superb selection of stunning self catering holiday lodges nestled at the foot of Skiddaw Mountain and on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake, Lake District. The lodges are in ttranquil surroundings and take in breathtaking views which can be further enjoyed on the many walks the area has to offer. Historic houses, gardens, castles, monuments, museums and many fascinating craft shops and galleries are all within 30 minutes drive of this small and exclusive park, which proudly holds Visit Britain's 'Best Park in England' award and the David Bellamy Gold award for conservation.

Visitors to the park have access to the small indoor heated pool and sauna and local fishing in addition to enjoying membership reductions at Keswick Golf Club. The site has a lending library containing games, paperback books and a DVD lending library.

Rooms Description

Each lodge is fully equipped with colour TV/video/DVD and stereo cassette or CD. There is a fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer and microwave and there is a bath or shower. Bed linen, duvets and towels are provided and beds are made up for you on arrival. There are french doors leading to a private patio area with gas barbecue. Central heating is provided for those guests who visit during the colder months.

Specialities

Private sailing craft are welcome at the site from April 1st-October 31st. Cots and high chairs are available for hire and pets are welcome at a small extra charge.
