Hoseasons self catering caravans and pine lodges located in parkland on the shore of Lake Windemere.

White Cross Bay is superbly situated on a 60 acres of delightful wooded parkland that runs down to the shores of Lake Windermere. The beautiful fells surrounding the site provide the perfect backdrop for a lakeland holiday on this site which holds the David Bellamy Gold award for conservation. White Cross Bay is the operfect base for touring, walking, climbing, sailing, boating and fishing (mational fishing licence required). Ambleside, Windermere and Bowness are all close by.

There is plenty to keep the whole family entertained on site and within the local area. The site has an indoor heated swimming pool with sauna and gym, children' splayground, amusements and there are facilities for boat launching, mooring and storage. There is a supermarket with off licence on site for supplies or, if you would like to catered for, the site has a modern clubhouse bar and restaurant.

Rooms Description

Each lodge or caravan is fully equipped with colour TV with selected satellite channels, fully fitted kitchen including microwave and bath and/or shower. Bed linen, duvets and towels are provided and electric panel heating is available in the bedrooms for those visiting during the colder months.

Specialities

Accommodation is within easy reach of the lake and clubhouse but due to steep gradients or steps in certain areas, the park may not be suitable for wheelchair users of visitors with mobility difficulties. Travel cots and high chairs are available for hire and pets are welcome for a small extra charge.
