The delightful Mere Lodge Guest house, once a barn. Now a beautiful guest house. Cindy and David would like to welcome you to their family-run guest house in the village of Hawkshead, at the heart of the Lake District National Park. The village of Hawkshead offers peace and tranquillity, away from the hustle and bustle of nearby Winderemere and Ambleside, yet close enough to easily access all the attractions in these Lake District hotspots.

We are superbly situated for exploring all that the countryside and villages of the beautiful Lake District National Park.We are children and pet freindly, and have satellite televsion in each of our comfortable rooms. We look forward to welcoming you! A lovely hearty Breakfast is served in the The Awarding winning Queens Head Restaurant, just seconds away.
