This cosy period cottage with its oak beams has recently been fully refurbished and provides very comfortable holiday accommodation for two. Situated in the centre of the village of Hornby just 7 miles from the South Lakes town of Kirby Lonsdale, it makes an ideal base for exploring the local area where there are so many beautiful country walks.

For bird watchers, Leighton Moss RSPB reserve is nearby, Lake Windermere, the Langdale Valley, the Forest of Bowland and the Dales National Park are all within an hours drive. From junction 34 of the M6 motorway, which is only 7 miles from Hornby, the coastal towns of Lytham St Annes and Blackpool can be reached in 45 minutes, making this an excellent centre for Lakes, Dales and Coast.

Rooms Description

The ground floor of the property houses a lounge with sofa, easy chair, dining table and chairs and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a colour TV, DVD player, radio, microwave and spin dryer at guests' disposal. On the first floor is the double bedroom and shower room with electric shower, hand basin and toilet.

Safe parking is available opposite the cottage and a small rear patio and furniture are provided together with an outbuilding where bicycles can be stored.
