Lorton Vale Self Catering Caravans enjoy a fantastic location for those who enjoy fishing or who simply want to get away from it all. The caravans are set on a working dairy farm incorporating a well stocked rainbow trout fishing pond to which guests have access.

The farm, pond and caravans are on the edge of Lorton Village, just off the C2C cycle route and in one of the more secluded parts of the Lake District. Lorton Village is a charming country village within walking distance of the ponds and here you will find a range of excellent amenities, including a pub, shop and tennis courts.
Rooms Description
Our two caravans are each six berth and have two bedrooms. Both have gas, electric and water supplied buy our own spring.
Specialities
Our fishing pond is well stocked with rainbow trout. Day and half day rates are available.

Directions
From the M6/Penrith head west on the A66 towards Keswick and Cockermouth. After passing Keswick, turn left towards Braithwaite and Whinlatter Pass to Lorton (6 miles). Go past the Forestry Commission visitors centre and take the next left signposted to Scales and C2C route. From West Cumbria take the A66 to Cockermouth then the B5292 to High Lorton. At the village hall (Boonbeck) follow signs for scales.
