Two spacious self catering apartments with private parking, 2 minute walk from Windermere centre and 15 minute walk from Bowness and Lake Windermere. Sleeps 6.

Briscoe Lodge self catering apartments are fully self contained and sleep up to six people. The apartments are usually booked out for a week at a time from Saturday to Saturday. Each apartment is fully equipped with colour TV, DVD player (with a complimentary DVD library available from the main house), storage heating, cooker, fridge, microwave and all linen. Both apartments have good sized living areas and two bedrooms each. Each apartment is allocated one car parking space.

We are situated just 2 minutes walk from Windermere village shops and 10 minutes from the train and bus stations, making us easily accessible for all local amenities with or without a car. The hustle and bustle of Bowness is a leisurely stroll away, where you will find Lake Windermere with its water sports, boat tours and picnic sites and a range of shops, pubs and a cinema. Ambleside, Grasmere, Rydal are all a short drive or bus ride away with a further variety of tourist attractions. The beautiful surrounding Lakeland fells also make our location ideal for walkers, climbers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Rooms Description

Both apartments have been recently refurbished and have two separate bedrooms. The upstairs apartment has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with a double bed settee in the living room. Downstairs has a double bedroom, bunkbeds in the smaller bedroom and a double bed settee in the living room. Both can sleep up to 6. Travel cot and high chair for both apartments are available upon request. Both have newly fitted kitchens (upstairs is smaller)and bathrooms with shower, WC and wash basin.
