Briscoe Lodge self catering apartments are fully self contained and sleep up to six people. The apartments in high season are booked out for a week at a time from Saturday to Saturday. Each apartment is fully equipped with colour TV, DVD player (with a complimentary DVD library available from the main house), storage heating, cooker, fridge, microwave and all linen. Both apartments have good sized living areas and two bedrooms each. Each apartment is allocated one car parking space.

We are situated just 2 minutes walk away from Windermere village shops and 10 minutes from the train and bus stations, making us easily accessible for all local amenities with or without a car. Bowness is a short leisurely stroll away, where you will find Lake Windermere and a host of water sports, tours and picnic sights. Ambleside is a short drive or bus ride away with a further variety of tourist attractions. The beautiful surrounding Lakeland fells make our location ideal for walkers, climbers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Rooms Description

Both apartments have been recently refurbished and have two bedrooms sleeping up to six people each. The upstairs apartment contains 2 double bedrooms with a double bed and 2 single beds and a double sofa bed settee in the living room. Downstairs has a double bedroom, bunkbeds in the smaller bedroom and a double bed settee in the living room. Travel cot and high chair for both apartments are availableupon request. Both have small fitted kitchens and newly renovated bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin.
