A delightful self catering cottage sleeping up to six people in the vibrant village of Staveley, just ten minutes from Lake Windermere in the South Lakes. The property has been recently refurbished to high standards to ensure your comfort. All local amenities are close at hand from fine food and ales at the local Eagle and Child pub, to old fashioned fish and chips at Wilf's Cafe and of course the butcher, post office, chemist and convenience store.
There are an abundance of walking and biking routes to choose from around Kentmere Valley and if mountain biking is your thing you can hire all the relevant equipment including bikes in the village. The village of Staveley lies within the Lake District National Park and is no more than twenty minutes away from Ambleside, Windermere and the beautiful Lakeland fells beyond. The Lake District has something for everyone, from rock climbing to country houses to the renowned Go Ape in Grizedale Forest.
Rooms Description
The cottage is well equipped to provide that real 'home from home' experience. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, fridge freezer and washing machine. The lounge has all mod cons including Sky TV, DVD player and Hifi with CD for your entertainment. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms.

Champagne and chocolates can be arranged on request. We can also stock up your fridge ready for your arrival, please enquire. All bed linen and towels are provided in the rental price.

Directions
From the M6, take junction 36 towards Lake District Peninsulas. Follow the A591 towards Kendal but bi-pass the town and continue towards Windermere. About 3 miles after Kendal take the turning for Staveley. Driving through the village, you pass the Eagle & Child pub (note it’s location for later!), good old Spar in the centre and then towards the far end of the village. Rawes Garth is the last turning on the left before Cumbria Tourism.
