Directions
From the M6, take junction 36 towards Lake District Peninsulas. Follow the A591 towards Kendal but bi-pass the town and continue towards Windermere. About 3 miles after Kendal take the turning for Staveley. Driving through the village, you pass the Eagle & Child pub (note it's location for later!), good old Spar in the centre and then towards the far end of the village. Rawes Garth is the last turning on the left before Cumbria Tourism.
