3 spacious and pet friendly cottages in the Cumbrian village of Dufton, near Penrith and Appleby. The many and varied walks and cycle rides from the doorstep make this an excellent base for an active break. Dufton is also ideally placed for exploring the Lake District and is close to the Yorkshire Dales and Hadrian's Wall. This makes it well situated for a wide range of family or group activities, such as mine tours, the Ostrich Farm, aerial assault courses, ice cream farms and the only via ferrata in the country (a new way to get up a mountain). Alternatively just relax in the garden or take a short stroll to the pub.

Our properties have been recently renovated to provide exceptional comfort and luxury, whilst retaining original features. All rooms are spacious and each property is well equipped. The farmhouse has its original stone fireplace set into the huge lounge, with a cosy log burning stove. The farmhouse has a bright first floor lounge with views of the Pennines. The Dairy, which is 5 star rated, comfortably sleeps 10 people and has large living areas and a separate dining room. Rooms Description

All rooms are bright and spacious and each property has at least one ensuite master bedroom. Kitchen, lounge and dining areas are all very large and there are plenty of bathroom facilities. All TVs have freeview and DVD, whilst kitchens have dishwashers and microwaves. The Barn and The Dairy have beautiful views over the Pennine hills and the farmhouse looks out onto the village green.
