Luxurious Scandinavian style self catering pine lodges set in three acres of hotel grounds close to the Cumbrian seaside town of Grange-Over Sands

The Woodlands Hotel Pine Lodges are superbly situated in three acres of woodlands that provide cover for roe deer and other wildlife. The lodge's close proximity by car to Lake Windermere makes this the ideal base for exploring the magnificent English Lake District. Nearby Grange over Sands has remained little changed over the years and the mile long promenade looks much as it did in the 1800's. This charming seaside town also boasts a number of well maintained gardens and parks, along with a selection of little shops and cafes where visitors can browse and relax.

Each of the luxurious Scandinavian style pine lodges has a slate roof, log clad walls and raised bases. The spacious living rooms are furnished with Swedish furniture and have full sized glazed patio doors providing excellent views and access to the raised balcony. The lounge is equipped with colour TV and radio for your entertainment and the kitchen contains an electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The bathroom of each lodge has a spa bath a walk in power shower in addition to a separate sauna or cloakroom.
