The Mews is nestled in the heart of Windermere Village, quite possibly one of the most beautiful places in England. At The Mews, your accommodation consists of your own ground floor suite with allocated car parking space right outside. Within your suite, you will benefit from a spacious sitting room and dining area exclusive to you and a pleasantly decorated double bedroom with en-suite facilities. You can come and go as you please and after a relaxing night you can wake up and decide what time you would like your complimentary breakfast. Your choice of delicious breakfast will then be freshly cooked and served to you in your dining area. It doesn't get much better than that!

Following your breakfast you can take a short 100 metre stroll to the nearest shops or you may wish to enjoy a half day or full day tour which will collect you and drop you off from the house. Evenings are never a problem with the wide variety of pubs, restaurants and hotel bars nearby. Alternatively you can snuggle up in your sitting room back at The Mews with a take-away and your favourite tipple. The Lake District is certainly an idyllic retreat with its breathtaking scenery and opportunities for various levels of activity whether it be relaxing by Lake Windermere and having a picnic to going on a cruise on the lake followed by a shoreline walk. There are also plenty of places to visit including The Lakes Aquarium, Lakeland Motor Museum, Tullie House and Museum and Quaker Tapestry and Exhibition Centre.

Rooms Description

The suite comprises of a comfortable double bed with bedside tables and lamps and a separate private lounge area with leather chairs, a dining area with cutlery, crockery and glasses. There is also a refrigerator for your own use, as well as a colour television, VCR and tea/coffee making facilities. The spacious en-suite bathroom benefits from both a bath and a shower and there you will also find his and hers fluffy bathrobes.

On your arrival you will find tea and coffee, ice cubes and fresh milk. All diets are catered for and all food is sourced locally and eggs are free range.
