A collection of four self catering holiday apartments located on an organic farm close to Bowness-on-Windermere in the English Lake District. Some of the buildings within the farm complex date back to 1691 and footpaths lead directly from the door into pleasant grazing land and connect with a wide network of paths. Windermere itself has a wide range of attractions including the World of Beatrix Potter, The Steamboat Museum and The Old Laundry Theatre. Should you wish to explore further then this is an excellent base for touring the southern Lake District, Grisedale, Ambleside, Hawkshead and Kendal.

There are four self catering apartments at Helm Farm. Helm Lune (rated 3 star) is the largest and can sleep five. There is one double room and a second which can be set up as a second double or as 3 singles. There is a large sitting room with CD and radio, TV and DVD, and open fire. The kitchen has a dishwasher and microwave. Helm Eden (3 star) sleeps four in one double bedroom and a bunk room. The living room has a log fire, flat screen TV and DVD and there is a well equipped kitchen.

Rooms Description

Helm Kent is three star rated and sleeps two adults plus two children in bunks. The comfortable sitting room has an open wood fire and there is a TV and DVD player. The kitchen is well equipped and there is additional heating from night storage heaters for the cooler months. Helm Mint is a ground floor studio apartment and sleeps two in a double bed. The well equipped kitchen includes a microwave and there is a flat screen TV, DVD and CD.

Specialities

All properties share a garden with outdoor furniture, and there are barbecues. Linen and towels are provided. Please note that we do not accept pets.
