Tony, the owner, will make you feel completely at home as he always welcomes everyone to his home very much as his personal house guests for the weekend or just overnight - just ask he can probably arrange most activites for you. Felsbeck is a spacious, comfortable bungalow in a quiet residential cul-de-sac only a 5 minute level walk from the north of Ambleside town centre. Following a comfortable, quiet, peaceful night, guests can enjoy a delicious (locally sourced where possible) English breakfast in the stylish dining room or on a lovely decked patio looking west over open fields to Louhgrigg Fell. Lighter or vegetarian breakfasts can be arranged with prior notice.

Ambleside is in the heart of the breathtakingly beautiful Lake District. There are numerous art galleries as well as the Wordsworth Trust/Dove Cottage Museum nearby, Grizedale Forest Visitor Centre with it's well known sculpture and cycling trails and Hill Top House. Lake Windermere is within easy reach for a cruise or to enjoy some water sports. Ambleside and the surrounding area is perfect for walking and cycling, the town centre is dotted with shops selling gifts, art and outdoor gear/equipment try F W Tyson for Meindl/Mephisto shoes. Restaurants? There are too many excellent ones to list them all - you could try a different one every night of a seven night stay without a repeat or a long walk from Flesbeck B&B Ambleside! Rooms Description

There are two bedrooms comprising a luxury double and single room. Both rooms have extremely comfortable beds, plenty of storage or hanging space, a digital colour television, tea/coffee making and a hairdryer. The double bedroom also has a washbasin. Both rooms have access to a shared luxury bathroom with an invigorating jacuzzi bath and a power shower.

Specialities

There is ample off road parking with secure bike or motorcycle storage. A well behaved dog can be accommodated by arrangement but will is not allowed in the bedroom with you - he/she will have the chance to make two new friends - Callie and Ben, Felsbeck's very well behaved black Labradors as well as some fabulous safe local walks. Wifi (if you want it) is available at Felsbeck also washing machines and dryers
