The theme is of your choice from back to baking, bread for beginners, student survival, family fun, puds for pleasure and novelty cakes.

Our guest bedroom (ground floor) can be made-up either as a single, double or twin room. The room is complete with an LCD Freeview TV and wireless internet connection. There is a separate private bathroom with shower, and also a kitchenette for washing, drying or making a snack. Situated on the ground floor, it is almost self-contained. Breakfast is taken upstairs in our beamed living room, with cosey wood burning stove.

Specialities

Our favourite phrase is "Visit as guests - leave as friends". We take the time to welcome you and treat you as people. Diana is a very accomplished cook and is always ready to talk about great cooking, local produce and local producers. Vic previously worked for the Lake District National Park, and will always be around to suggest great things to see and do, including some that the casual visitor might otherwise miss. We love to provide a personal service - it makes all the difference.
