This welcoming property has a real homely feel with timbered ceilings and a large comfortable sofa on which to relax along with flatscreen TV. The hallway leads through to an open plan lounge and well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and chairs. A double bedroom and separate shower room complete the picture at this beautiful cottage.

Mary's Cottage is ideally placed for the serious walker heading into the hills or for those just seeking a chill out hideaway. Just five minutes from the centre of Grasmere village, you couldn't be better placed for a true taste of the Lakes. The village itself has a selection of small shops, traditional inns and restaurants as well as Dove Cottage, home to William Wordsworth whose grave lies in the nearby churchyard. Grasmere Lake is also home to an abundance of birdlife and what could be nicer than to hire a rowing boat to enjoy the peaceful location and stunning views.
