Enjoy a superb holiday in one of our two stunning self catering cottages situated in Ulpha in the beautiful English Lake District. The cottages offer guests everything you would want for a truly stunning holiday. Each of the cottages offer spectacular views across the Duddon Valley and the Lake District National Park. The two cottages, Long Garth (4 Star) and The Granary (4 Star Gold Award) are in the ideal position for those who wish to walk in the fells. There is parking available adjacent to the cottages. The cottages are next to the farm and guests are welcome to visit the farm whenever they wish. The cottages are set in a stunning location and although in a rural position, we are close to all the major attractions and just half an hour from Windermere.

4 Star Long Garth Cottage is set above the Duddon Valley in the Lake District National Park. A popular place for walkers, it is considered by many to be the finest place in the Lake District. It is the ideal place for those who wish to explore the South West Lake District including the Coniston Fells, Wastwater and the surrounding highpeaks. Surrounding features include Eskdale, with its famous narrow guage railway, the sandy beach of Haverigg, Muncaster Castle and the undiscovered West Coat Long Garth is only 30 minutes from the Central Lakes.
Rooms Description
Long Garth -- has two double bedrooms and two single bedrooms, a dining room, fully-fitted kitchen and lounge with wood burning stove for those cold winter evenings. The bathroom is fitted with an overhead power shower and a bath, which is great for a long soak after cycling or walking in the fells. The Granary -- is a new build self catering holiday cottage situated next door to Long Garth. The cottage has two double bedrooms and one twin room. Like Long Garth it also has a dining room, kitchen and lounge with log burning stove and is ideal accommodation for a family or small group of couples. There is also a newly built conservatory.
