Two 3 star self catering holiday cottages on a working farm just four miles from Kendal in the heart of the Cumbrian countryside, one sleeps six, the other ten.

Two self catering barn conversions located near the market town of Kendal in Cumbria, each rated three stars. The properties are located at Topthorn Farm, a 160 acre beef and sheep farm with 20 head of cattle and 350 mule sheep. The farm is located on the edge of the Lake District National Park with Windermere just a 20 minute drive away, Penrith 30 minutes and Keswick 40 minutes. These holiday cottages provide home from home comforts in a tranquil rural location and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, ideal for a break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Cobblestone Cottage sleeps up to ten people on four bedrooms and has been built with extras for people with disabilities, including widened doorways. The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave and the adjoining sunroom has views across the garden. In the lounge there is TV with Freeview, DVD player and video as well as a selection of games, videos, DVDs and books. Waller's Barn sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms and is set on three levels, with sleeping accommodation on the lower ground and first floors. Again, the cottage is well furnished and equipped, similarly to Cobblestone Cottage. Outside, there is a large grassed area where children can play and a range of outdoor games for hire including Jenga, skittles, large Connect Four, bowls and croquet.
