Helen and Andrew welcome you to the 4*Hazelwood Guest House, situated right in the heart of the Northen Lake District. Situated on Chestnut Hill, this family owned and run B&B is the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding Lakelands. The Guest House is slightly elevated so enjoys good views of Keswick and the surrounding Lake District fells. Our guest house has been tastefully refurbished to provide our guests with warm and comfortable home from home accommodation.

There are plenty of Keswick walks directly from the door of Hazelwood so you can leave the car and head straight out onto the Lakeland Fells. There are walks for all abilities from rambling to hiking. We're close to Latrigg and Skiddaw, or a short drive or bus ride away is the Borrowdale Valley or the Helvellyn. Keswick town centre has an excellent selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes and is only a ten minute stroll away. Why not visit the ancient Castlerigg Stone Circle or cycle down the 'coast to coast' cycle network?

Rooms Description

Our six bedrooms are individually furnished and decorated and are the perfect place for a good nights sleep. They all benefit from full central heating and have private facilities allowing you to enjoy both comfort and privacy. They have a blend of quality pine beds and tastefully coordinated soft furnishings. Each room comes equipped with a colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and alarm clock.

We can provide packed lunches or flask filling on request. Our private car park has space for 10 cars and you are welcome to leave your car whilst you enjoy the local amenities. We can also provide bike storage for 6 bikes. We offer drying facilites for your muddy wet weather gear and boots. We are a non smoking property.
