The 35-acre Langdale Estate set in heart of the English Lake District is a natural woodland haven with streams and tarns, dotted with massive millstones and other carefully preserved reminders of its history as a 19th century gunpowder works. The Estate offers a choice of hotel, lodge and apartment accommodation, two restaurants, a traditional Lakeland pub and leisure facilities.

The Estate offers hotel accommodation with 57 en-suite luxury rooms. The rooms are village style located around the Estate with a few situated in the main hotel building. We have over 100 units, both Lodge and Apartment accommodation, for timeshare purchase and self-catering rental. The Estate has four purpose built conference rooms.

Each lodge is carefully positioned to give a high degree of privacy: some overlook waterways and ponds, other afford views of wooded glades or spectacular mountains.

Half suitable for a 'bit of work' and the rest all leisure Langdale's swimming pool with its dedicated lanes for those wishing to do some laps and massage seat has one of the biggest and best facilities in the North of England. With outstanding views from the spacious pool and the twelve-person spa pool, it is a great place to wile away an hour or two. Or you can spend some quality time in the state-of-the-art sunarium with its combination of steam and heat that allows you to enjoy relaxing in this facility for far longer than the more traditional type of steam room or sauna. There is the Terrace Restaurant and Café-Bar alongside the Health & Beauty Salon that can provide for any other needs.
