Greenhowe Caravan Park is perfectly situated in the heart of the Lake District near Ambleside, about half a mile from Dungeon Ghyll and his magnificent waterfall, at the foot of the Langdale Pikes. Perfect for walking and outdoor pursuits in the Central Lakes, the park is quiet, secluded and surrounded by beautiful woodland. Guests have total freedom and privacy, and the park is fully equipped with numerous amenities. The area around our park is a real paradise for walkers, with several published walks starting close to our Caravan Park. Climbing, fell walking, riding, swimming, are all easily accessed.

Our luxury static caravans are all equipped with heating in all rooms, full gas cooker, WC, shower and basin with H&C, fridge, microwave, combined colour TV and DVD. Our caravans can be booked for nightly or weekly stays and pet are most welcome at a small charge. Our 3 bed-roomed Lodge sleeps six people very comfortably, with an en-suite shower room attached to the master bedroom. The lounge with a luxurious leather suite contains a wide, flat screen television and DVD player. The veranda overlooks the beautiful scenery of the Langdale Valley. Please note our lodge can only be booked for a minimum of a week and pets are not allowed. More info can be found on our website. All our accommodation has car parking for one vehicle adjacent to the holiday home. Facilities include a separate laundry, a Park Shop, an Off-license. There is a public Telephone kiosk on the park. There are free Wireless Internet access points on our park (Bring your own Laptop or PDA).

Rooms Description

The choice of caravans includes our Classique caravans, the largest at 8 berth, and fully equipped with gas heater, full gascooker, WC, Shower and basin with H&C, fridge, combined colour TV and DVD player, electricity for lighting and razor point. Full heating is provided in all bedrooms and shower rooms. Also provided are a microwave and all the necessary crockery, cutlery, pans, duvets and pillows (sheets and pillowcases are available on hire). All caravans have at least two separate bedrooms. Electricity and gas are included in the rental charge. A cot side for one single bed is available for hire (please order when booking).
