3 adjoining 4 star self catering holiday cottages of charm and character sleeping from 2 up to 4 persons in idyllic riverside setting at Ambleside.

Riverside Lodge is a property of immense charm and character which comprises three adjoining 4 star self catering holiday cottages in an idyllic riverside setting just 500 yards from the centre of Ambleside in the heart of the English Lake District. 'The Lodge' is the largest cottage on the left of the main picture and sleeps a maximum of 4 persons. 'Middlebeck Cottage' in the centre and 'Overbeck Cottage' on the right, each accommodate 2 persons. We are unable to accommodate children under 10 or pets.

Within a short stroll into Ambleside centre you will find a range of specialist shops,galleries, museums, restaurants, cafés and pubs..... Or, follow the river down to Lake Windermere and take a boat ride across the water to Bowness where you will find a range of attractions including the Beatrix Potter experience. Riverside Lodge is an extremely convenient starting point for walks, bike rides and excursions. The 3 cottages are the perfect base from which to explore the Lake District and further into Cumbria.

Rooms Description

'The Lodge' which sleeps 4 people has 3 floors. Entrance is from the garden leading into a large basement with beamed ceilings and stone flag floor, The basement has a Games Room with full size Table Tennis. The First Floor has a spacious lounge with minster fire-surround and a separate Dining Room. On the top floor are two ensuite bedrooms; one a double and the other a twin........... 'Middlebeck' sleeps 2 and comprises an open-plan lounge/kitchen dining area and a spacious bedroom with king-size double bed and shower room ................. 'Overbeck' also sleeps 2 and comprises a lounge, kitchen and dining area with french balcony overlooking the river. Upstairs is a spacious king-size double bedroom and bathroom..... All 3 properties enjoy stunning views. Rents are inclusive of all cost with no extras to pay.

Specialities

There are superb walks in all directions from the property. Follow the river upstream for a delightful walk into Ambleside town centre or in the opposite direction downstream to Lake Windermere. We are also at the foot of Loughrigg Fell for those who seek more challenging exercise.
