David and Christine will make you welcome and do their best to make your stay enjoyable. From the time you pull into the car park, with views of the charming houses of Ambleside and Loughrigg Fell, until you leave you will be able to relax and unwind into a slower pace of life. There is off-street parking for all guests and safe storage for bikes. The house is tastefully modernised and furnished to a high standard, whilst retaining the character of a Lakeland home. It is fully central heated and there is a warm atmosphere throughout. Careful attention is paid to the decorative details that make the public areas so attractive. Our Bee and Bee theme adds interest and humour. We are non smoking throughout the house. Sorry, we do not take pets.

For well over 150 years Ambleside has earned a living catering for visitors. All sectors of the tourist market, from campers to gourmets, will find satisfactory establishments in Ambleside in which to stay, eat and drink. Ambleside is a very convenient starting point for excursions, walking, cycling or driving, into all areas of the Lake District, situated as it is at the hub of the area's road system. The town center is only a mile from the head of Lake Windermere, which offers a variety of water activities.
