The owners have lived in the Lake District for many years and have excellent local knowledge, and are only too happy to help you plan your Lake District holiday. Hillsdale B&B is fully centrally heated for your comfort. Seven fully en-suite guest bedrooms, one with its own private facilities, are available for guests to choose from. We have flexible accommodation to cater for doubles, twins, families and singles. All rooms have remote control colour TV's, hairdryers and radio alarms. There is always constant and plentiful hot water and complimentary trays including chocolate biscuits and beverages.

Hillsdale is in the heart of Ambleside, so guests have easy access to a wealth of specialist shops, and a large number of good quality pubs and restaurants, including an excellent vegetarian restaurant. There are two cinemas, tennis courts, an in season crown green bowling green, pitch and putt, crazy golf, a playground and park, picnic areas and a tourist information centre.
