The Dower House Guest House is a graceful mid 19th century country property in an idyllic situation on the western side of Lake Windermere. The guest house has a communal lounge with log fire in winter months and with panoramic views of the surrounding hills is ideal for wildlife viewing all year round. The rooms in the bed and breakfast have been named Fairfield, Wansfell, Catle and Langdale, providing twin, double and single bedrooms.

Situated within the Wray Castle Estate of 100 acres with direct access to the unspoilt woodland beauty of the Lake shore (about 300 yards) the house is renowned for being quiet and peaceful. Take advantage of the many varied attractions from the Beatrix Potter House to Go Ape, where kids of all ages can enjoy an action packed day. Various boats can also be hired on several lakes including Coniston and Windermere.

The Dower House Guest House is ETB 2 Crown awarded and offers dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. All bedrooms are en-suite and are warm and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. There is a spacious guest lounge with TV and log fires in winter. There is ample car parking at the house.
