Two idyllic non-smoking Victorian properties offering B&B & self catering, elevated central position

2 and 3 Swiss Villas are 2 adjacent Victorian properties, offering non-smoking Self Catering and Bed and Breakfast accommodation. The B&B at No 2 takes up to 5 people in 3 bedrooms. The self catering at No 3 accommodates up to 6 people in 3 seperate bedrooms. These houses are both beautifully decorated and are situated in a most convenient central Ambleside position, slightly elevated with excellent views across the town to Wansfell. The accommodation is peaceful and off the main road, and ideal for strolling down to Ambleside's many specialist shops, cinemas, restaurants, walks, parks and the superb Armitt Museum and are only a 10 minute stroll to Lake Windermere. The self-catering house at 3 Swiss Villas is newly refurbished, with full central heating and an open fire and lettings are normally on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday.

The self catering accommodation is on 3 floors and there are 2 double bedded rooms on the first floor and a twin room on the second floor. No need to worry about parking in popular Ambleside, a private parking permit is available for two cars outside the house, for the duration of your stay. There is a small rear yard with a garden seat, space for cycles and an additional outside toilet. The fully equipped kitchen has a microwave, fridge (with small freezer compartment), gas hob and fan oven. There is comfortable seating in the lounge for 6 people and a colour television, video recorder, DVD Player and CD player are provided.There are additional T.V`s. The open fire is laid ready for your arrival in winter.

Rooms Description

Guests will love the charming cottage style bedrooms, which are furnished to a high standard with all bedding supplied, including summer and winter weight duvets. Towels are not normally provided, except by prior arrangement. Beds are made up ready for your arrival. The fully fitted bathroom has hand basin, wc and over-bath shower. There is a seperate dining room and kitchen.

Specialities

We do offer shorter self-catering breaks (for a minimum of 3 nights). These are available by prior arrangement, particularly in the winter months. The main fuel costs are included and the proprietors live next door, so are normally available to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Member of Cumbria Tourist Board.
