How Head Barn - Ambleside

Idyllic 3 Star Ambleside Barn Conversion, Cosy Flat/Sleeps 2-3, B&B, Original Features,Nr Shops/Pubs

How Head is a wonderfully atmospheric converted barn, offering beautifully appointed self catering and bed and breakfast accommodation. Non smoking, and graded 3 stars for quality and comfort, How Head is part of the ancient Ambleside Hall and is situated just above the Ambleside town centre. The hall, at least four centuries old, is now divided into several residences of great character and this part of it has been converted to make a charming ground floor flat for self-catering, with a small garden. The property retains most original features including flag floors and ceiling timbers. Rustic, warm and cosy, How Head is fully equipped with modern fixtures and appliances and makes a perfect Lakeland retreat for two or three, away from the town centre bustle in a quiet corner of its own, but only three minutes walk from pubs and shops. Bed and Breakfast is also available in a separate part of the house. There is one double-bedded room and two singles. A full English breakfast is served, with vegetarian or other alternatives. The B&B is open all year, and children are welcome.
