Sarum is a delightful 3 star self catering base for groups of up to 8 guests. This spacious stone-built Victorian terraced house is situated just off the centre of Ambleside village, only a minute's walk from Ambleside's superb choice of shops, pubs and restaurants, yet in a quiet residential street. The house is immaculately furnished and decorated, and offers spacious, warm and comfortable living for 6 to 8 guests. Parking is on-street using resident's permits. The large open plan sitting/dining room has a comfortable lounge area with a bay window. There is colour TV, video, CD, and a living flame gas fire. The dining area has a large circular dining table and chairs and an attractive wall dresser. One dog is welcome by arrangement, and changeover is usually Friday to Friday. Guests need to bring their own bedlinen and towels, and gas and electricity is by meter reading.

The fully fitted kitchen is a long galley-style, with units in natural woods. There is a built in hob, microwave, electric oven and fridge-freezer. Other amenities include a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier, plus all necessary cooking utensils. Outside is a small paved yard with room for table and chairs, and a barbecue is provided. On the first floor there are two twin bedded rooms and a shower room with basin and toilet. On the second floor is the master bedroom, with its own large en-suite bathroom with shower over, basin, toilet and bidet. For parties of eight, there is a fold out double bed in the basement den. All bedrooms have TV and walk-in wardrobes.
