Situated in one of the most scenic and tranquil areas of the lake district near the Cumbrian villages of Ireby, Caldbeck and Uldale, each cottage has its own character and spectacular views in all directions and stunning sunsets over the Solway Estuary and Scottish Hills. These imaginative barn conversions offer you a luxurious and peaceful base from which to explore the Northern fells, Lake District and Solway coast. New Park Farm Cottages are centrally situated for visiting the historic Lakeland market towns of Keswick and Cockermouth, both with many places of interest, including galleries, famous buildings (the homes of Wordsworth and Southey), a theatre, parks, shops and many different restaurants and bars. The area is ideal for walking and cycling with many footpaths and bridleways nearby. Within 3 miles are the gentle slopes of the Northern fells, which offer very quiet and accessible landscape with tremendous views. Also nearby is the Solway Coast with its Georgian towns of Maryport and Whitehaven, both of which have interesting harbour areas and make for an interesting day out.

Rooms Description

At New Park Farm guests can choose from a range of four self catering cottages. Ellen Cottage sleeps 4, Church Cottage sleeps 6, Ash Tree Cottage sleeps 3 and Sycamore Cottage sleeps 4. All four cottages have full central heating, 37" lcd flat panel colour television, Dvd Players, Dab Radio, microwave and fridge freezer. There is a shared games room, laundry facilities, and a large grassed picnic/BBQ area. There is also off road parking for all visitors. All the cottages have use of the parking area, games room with pool, and table tennis. Outside there is a play area with Slide Swings and Climbing frame

Our Cottages are rated 5 star by Visit Britain, we provide a welcome tea tray on arrival and a bottle of wine, all bed linen and towels are included as is the Central Heating. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our cottages, and the home from home environment we create. We also have two Miniature Shetland Ponies Angel and Megan in the field surrounding the cottage
