Silver Lea Guest House is a beautifully appointed, stunning bed and breakfast in Grasmere in the heart of the Lake District. There are many superb mountain and valley walks in the local fells and it is an easy drive to Windermere, Ambleside and Keswick. Our delightful B&B is in peaceful surroundings, only 3 minutes walk from the village famous for its associations with Wordsworth and Dove Cottage. There are several beautiful walks directly from Silver Lea and easy access by car to most parts of the national park. Weekly rates are available, and for the comfort of all Silver Lea is a non-smoking guesthouse and sorry no pets.

We have four light and airy guest bedrooms with comfortable seating and en-suite facilities. Two of the rooms are suites with separate lounge areas. All have central heating, TV and tea/coffee facilities and enjoy beautiful mountain views. Our home cooked dinners, provided some evenings, are made from local produce whenever possible. Twin and Double Rooms with Private Bathroom or Twin and Double Rooms, with Private Bathroom and Sitting Area are available.
