4 Drysalters is a brand new luxury first floor apartment for up to 4 people situated in a quiet conservation area in the historic market town of Kendal. Close to all amenities it makes the perfect base for exploring the English Lake District. The apartment has a great location on the edge of Kendal town, which combines the cosmopolitan with the traditional. There is a great choice of restaurants, coffee shops, bars and pubs, all within walking distance. There is also a convenience store, DVD rental shop, off license, gym/spa and serviced laundrette within 100 metres.

Drysalters is an ideal base from which to explore Kendal and the beautiful Lake District National Park. Why not pay a visit to Kendal Museum, the Quaker Tapestry exhibition, an art gallery or simply take a walk around the town? Kendal Railway Station, where the local train service runs from early morning to late night for visits to Windemere, is also nearby. There is also a direct link to Manchester Airport which takes approximately 90 minutes. The Lake District National Park is only 3 miles away and there are lots of day trips and things to explore including the Beatrix Potter exhibition and her original home and the Lakeland Steamers to view the Lakes in all their glory. There are two golf courses nearby too.

Drysalters Apartment is very well equipped with good quality furnishings and offers a high standard of comfort and cleanliness. The Hallway leads to a large Lounge/Diner incorporating comfortable seating for 4 people, dining table and chairs. Panasonic Viera TV/DVD and a cd player, large patio doors lead out onto a balcony where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine with a sunny aspect and views of Kendal Castle and beyond. There is a separate high spec kitchen, fully equipped with modern conveniences, together with a number of provisions included as standard. The good sized bathroom has a bath with overhead power shower and a large storage cupboard. There are two comfortable bedrooms, one has a double bed, the other has twin beds. All beds have quality mattresses and duck/feather & down duvets with matching Christy bedlinen and towels. A choice of pillows is also available.

Specialities

The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the centre of town and a one minute walk to one of the best pubs! The train station is situated around the corner from the main road opposite The Kendal Museum. A health spa/gym is situated round the corner and is convenient for visitors as are so many other facilities which are available within this small community. Central heating, linen including made up beds and towels are provided and all utility bills are inclusive. A dedicated Parking space is available for private use and this is adjacent to the apartment for convenient parking central to town. Details of excursions and things to do in and around Kendal and the Lakes are available within the apartment and include Maps and guided tour infomation together with times and prices. We regret than the apartment is not suitable for children under the age of 6. Non Smoking No Pets allowed
