Chestnut Villa is a former coaching inn now offering deluxe en-suite bed and breakfast in Grasmere, at the heart of the English Lake District. Each of our individually decorated rooms offers a fabulous view of the surrounding fells making this the ideal base from which to explore one of the world's great natural beauty spots. All food is freshly prepared on the premises and is locally sourced from organic farms and producers wherever possible. Packed lunches are also available for your days out. We happily cater for special diets with a little prior notice to allow us to source the necessary ingredients.

Chestnut Villa is located on the edge of the picturesque village of Grasmere and there are a variety of pubs and restaurants serving good food to be found within five minutes walk. The Lake District has long been, and continues to be, one of the UK's most popular tourist draws. Rooms Description

Chestnut Villa has a choice of eight individually decorated guest rooms all of which are en-suite with either shower or bath. Double, twin, family (1 x double, 1 x single beds) and single rooms are available. The rooms are complete with tea and coffee making facilities, new lcd TV’s, hair dryers and clock radio. Guests are welcome to relax in the large lounge area where you can rest and enjoy the views of the surrounding fells.

Directions

As you approach Grasmere, keep on the A591 at the mini roundabout. eg. take 2nd exit (1st exit takes you into the village). Follow for less than a mile. You will pass The Swan hotel on your right and a lane to the left. Slow down as you pass through 30mph signs. Chestnut Villa is just passed the second lane on your left - look for the last building on your left (if you pass The Travellers Rest pub, you’ve gone too far).
