This self contained self catering apartment is full of charm and character and is ideally placed between the Lakeland villages of Bowness and Windermere in the English Lake District. Recently renovated, this cosy apartment offers a high standard of accommodation for two people.

The Nook is ideal for holidaying couples and is just a 5 minute stroll from the villages of Bowness and Windermere. A superb location for lovers of Lakeland with a huge range of walking and cycling routes available right from the front door. The villages themselves have a good range of quaint shops, restaurants and traditional inns from which to choose. Why not hire a rowing boat for the day and head out onto the lake? Or maybe enjoy a relaxing ride on the famous paddle steamer to soak up the beautifu scenery. A superb location means you can forget the car and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing break.

Rooms Description

The Nook offers cosy and comfortable accommodation for up to two people. Comprising double bedroom with King Size ornate bed, high vaulted ceilings and Velux windows provide a light and airy room. A cot can be provided on request. Bathroom with in bath shower. Cosy lounge to nestle into in the evenings provided with a 26” flat screen TV & DVD player with library and SKY channels, WiFi also available. Spacious ground floor open plan and fully fitted kitchen /dinning area, facilities include washing machine, fridge, dishwasher and microwave, Front door leads out to your own private patio area, a sun trap in the mornings and great for al-fresco breakfasts. Sorry we can’t guarantee the Sun obliging. All bed linen and towels provided and a mid week cleaning and laundry service offered. The Nook is entirely private from the attached owner’s accommodation and has exclusive use of own car park space.

Specialities

Guests of The Nook have complimentary use of the leisure facilities at Parklands Country Club in Bowness. Facilities offered free of charge include use of Gym, Swimming pool, Spa bath, Squash court, Steam bath and sauna.
