Luxurious Yewfield Vegetarian Bed and Breakfast is set within 30 acres of it's own grounds and is ideally placed near Ambleside. The house is set in a quiet elevated position with panoramic views over the Vale of Esthwaite, Lake Windermere and the fells beyond. A ten minute stroll takes you to a magnificent viewpoint overlooking Tarn Hows and the rugged fells of the Central Lakes. We offer a wholefood continental buffet including fresh fruits, muesli, cereals, home baked bread, yoghurt, preserves, coffee and teas and a full cooked breakfast.

The former coach house and stables sits about 150 yards from the main house and has been carefully converted into four individually styled holiday properties sleeping from two to six guests. Each unique property is furnished with carefully chosen fabrics and colours and offers a high standard of comfort.All four stylish homes are non-smoking, and one pet is welcome by arrangement. All fuel and duvets and bed linen are supplied, and beds are made up for arrival. The four stylish self catering properties include Yew Trees, graded 3 stars and sleeping 4 guests. This property offers fine views and one double and one twin bedroom. A seating area is outside. The cosy Coachman's Loft sleeps 2 and is graded ETC 4 stars. This property includes a romantic four poster bed and open fire, with fitted breakfast kitchen. Also available are spacious Tarn Hows, graded 4 stars and sleeping 6 plus Swallows Nest which sleeps 4 and is also graded ETC 4 stars.
