WISTARIA COTTAGE is one of two cottages standing back from the road near the centre of the village facing south with views of the wooded fells and the River Brathay. It sleeps four in two bedrooms one with a delightful Victorian iron and brass 4'6' bed; the other with two 3' beds; both with hot and cold vanitory units Parking for one car at the front of the cottage.

NO.3 is one of a traditional row of cottages again near the centre of the village. The kitchen door opens out onto a slate terrace with views across the Fells towards Loughrigg. It sleeps three in two bedrooms, one with two 3' beds which lock together; one with one 3' bed. Both cottages are comfortable furnished with Ercol furniture, LCD TV; VCR and DVD; have fully fitted kitchen with separate dining area; wekll appointed bathroom and electric shower. Both cottages are cool in summer and warm and cosy in winter with off-peak heating and open log fires. There is an excellent Village Shop & Post Office; a well-known Pub and the shops and cinema of Ambleside are only 4 miles away.
