Chapel House is a dairy house, with adjacent holiday cottage to let. The cottage is perfectly placed for visiting nearby Hadrian's Wall, Carlisle and Penrith. The holiday cottage itself is spacious, with a large lounge overlooking the garden and with superb views over open farmland beyond. Many guests enjoy the open fire, set in a feature stone fireplace and fuel for this is provided at no extra charge, although there is also an electric fire for those who prefer. Chapel House is on the edge of the attractive village of Talkin which has two country pubs, both easy walking distance from the cottage, and both serving excellent food. Nearby amenities include the beautiful Gelt Woods, Hadrians Wall, Brampton Golf Course and Talkin Tarn which offers fishing, boating, sailing and windsurfing.

The cottage to let sleeps six people, and is adjacent to the main farmhouse. Accommodation consists of 2 family sized bedrooms, a bathroom, shower, WC and large living room with dining area. Off Road parking is available for 2 cars and the property has central heating and a coal/ Electric Fire. Electricity is pay-as-you-go metered. There is a compact kitchen with Electric Cooker, Fridge, and a Microwave. The Laundry Room is fully equipped with a Washing Machine and guests can relax in the spacious garden with patio furniture.
