Comfortable first floor flat adjoining the Brown Cow Inn, charming inn, darts and pool table

If you're looking for comfortable and friendly accommodation connected to a charming Cumbrian village pub then the first floor flat adjacent to the Brown Cow Inn is just for you. The Brown Cow Inn has a great local atmosphere, isfully carpeted, with a main bar area which leads to an open pool room. There are 2 darts areas and a real coal fire. Why not relax in the little snug bar, with adjacent dining room. The main bar has a comfortable lived in feel to it. It has all wooden cushioned chairs or benches surrounding wooden tables. The inn is a local Village Inn, so it's an opportunity to mix with some of the friendly locals. There's a darts and domino knockout competition every Sunday evening all year round. The flat itself is a self-contained centrally heated flat offering you a lounge/dining room with gas fire and TV. The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob and oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, offering guests a real home-from-home environment. The master bedroom has a pine double bed and wardrobe. There is a twin bedded room in the studio loft with views out to the Isle of Man and a double sofa bed in the lounge. In the bathroom you have a bath with shower and the usual fittings. Towels, linen and a food starter pack is provided, but if guests prefer not to cook they can enjoy superb homecooked food in the Brown Cow Inn next door!

The dining room is open from 10.30 am Monday to Saturday, 12 noon on Sunday, with last food order 8.30 p.m. or at the discretion of the chef. Meals are served in the bar or snug from 11.30 a.m. Monday to Saturday. 12 noon on Sunday, last food order 8.30 p.m. or at the discretion of the chef. The Snug and dining room are non smoking areas for the comfort of our guests. We have a supper license which means we can serve you with drinks till midnight if you have had a meal with us.
