Our Dining Room offers hearty meal choices, and we've won consecutive RAC Merit Awards, with particular recommendations for breakfasts, which will set you up for a days walking or climbing. Service is relaxed and dress codes are informal. High standards of cuisine are maintained by our long serving, award winning executive chef. We specialise in Herdwick lamb and mutton when available. There's a good spacious drying room on the first floor for the occasional wet days. As well as our B&B Inn accommodation we also offer a choice of self-catering accommodation in the adjacent traditional stonebuilt Lakeland Barn. Guests can choose from six self catering apartments which have been created to provide all modern amenities, including central heating, and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. Attractively converted from a traditional Lakeland Barn, the six apartments have been carefully designed to retain the original character of the old buildings whilst offering modern standards of comfort.
