Maia Lodge offers bed and breakfast accommodation in a superb location at the end of the Hadrian's Wall walk, ideal for walkers. The property is situated on the Solway coast, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and enjoys fabulous views across the estuary to Scotland.

Visitors are sure to enjoy the wildlife of the area and it is a birdwatcher's paradise, and at the western end of the village is an RSPB Nature Reserve. Bowness-on-Solway is a quiet village but there is a great bus service to nearby Carlisle, famous for itss cathedral and castle. During the summer months walkers can use the Hadrians Wall bus service which runs from Wallsend to Bowness.
