Luxury Helsington Laithes Manor dates from the 15th Century and is a grade II listed Manor House offering guests superb Bed and Breakfast accommodation on the southern outskirts of Kendal. Facilities include a spacious dining room and guest lounge on the ground floor with access to the grounds. The guesthouse has many original features, including in the lounge a plaster tracery decoration on the West wall with the initials IAB and is dated 1538. This is believed to have been a trial piece for a similar ceiling design that appears at nearby Levens Hall.

We're in a quiet off road location with ample private parking. We're also perfectly located for exploring the North Lake District, or en-route to Scotland as we're just 5 minutes from the M6, J36.
