Brunt Knott Holiday Cottages are part of Brunt Knott Farm, a 17th century Lakeland Hill farm with stunning views from the sea to the highest point of England. The Cottages are located at the foot of the beautiful Kentmere Valley between the country town of Kendal and Lake Windermere. Choose from 4 wonderful self catering cottages, all tastefully decorated and offering everything you may need for a stress free stay. The cottages are traditionally constructed in stone and slate and each has its own garden and private parking.

There are many places to visit and numerous things to do to keep you and the family entertained throughout your holiday. For those who love the activity of the outdoors, there are plenty of walks and cycle paths to adventure. Enjoy the stunning scenery and the unspoilt countryside of the English Lake District. If you're new to the Lakes, then Windermere is the perfect starting point. Busy and bustling, and not recommended for swimming in these days as you're likely to collide with a boat or two - hundred. However, fly fishing on Lake Windermere is thriving, despite the heavy pressure of tourism.

Rooms Description

We offer four different sized cottages to suit your individual needs. In the Stables and Hayloft cottages you will find one double bedrooms sleeping 2. The Bothy cottage sleeps four in one double and one twin room. Five can be accommodated in the Byre cottage in a double bedroom, a room with a single bed and bunk beds.
