Kendal attractions such as Abbot Hall Art Gallery and specialist shops and pubs are all within easy walking distance.

Shopping in Kendal is a real treat. Take a five minute walk from the guest house finds you at Black Hall Yard which adjoins the Westmorland shopping centre. Across the road you will find the Elephant yard. All have big national outlets along with the smaller individual interesting shops. Market days are Wednesdays and Saturdays and the covered market is open six days a week.
