Helm Cottage in Appleby in Westmorland is one of our rural self-catering Milburn Grange Holiday Cottages. It’s traditionally furnished for a home-from-home stay, and available for holidays and for short breaks throughout the year. The cottage enjoys access to on-site BBQ and picnic facilities, and it’s ideal for families. The kids will love our outdoor adventure playground, and you’ll enjoy our convenient location near the M6 motorway, the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Helm Cottage can accommodate up to seven people, with a double bedroom, a twin room and a bunk room, as well as a z-bed for an additional guest at a cost of £25 per week. It features a homely living room, beamed ceilings and media and entertainment facilities including a TV, a DVD player and a music system. The fully-fitted kitchen includes a dining table, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, microwave and cooker, and the property has a family bathroom with over-bath shower. You’ll also have access to a communal utility room with additional laundry facilities, a pool table and a payphone.

A wireless internet connection is available free of charge at Helm Cottage, and by arrangement we can offer three-course meal delivery for groups of six or more. We welcome one or two dogs for a fee of £20 each, with advance notice, and we’re able to provide a cot and highchair if required for a younger guest.
