Kemps Hill is a charming, quiet B&B situated in the idyllic village of Barbon. Barbon is conveniently placed between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District and is the perfect location for walking, with many local footpaths and bridleways over Barbon Fell and Dentdale. Ruskin's famous view at Kirkby Lonsdale is only 3 miles from the guesthouse, and guests who love walking and climbing have easy access to the Three Peaks.

We welcome children, and can provide packed lunches by arrangement for your days out. The spectacular Waterfall Walk at Ingleton is only 9 miles from the guesthouse, and makes the perfect family day out. Whitescar Caves in Ingleton is only 13 miles away. Two beautifully appointed and decorated rooms are available to guests. Why not bring your pet too, we welcome pets here at Kemps Hill. Kemps Hill B&B is also the perfect location for lovers of both fishing and golf. The nearby river Lune is well stocked with fine salmon, and there is golf at Kirkby Lonsdale's 18 hole championship course only half a mile away. All the attractions of Lake Windemere via Kendal are also within easy reach by car.
