The Mount is nestled at the foot of the Howgill Fells, and provides high quality, holiday accommodation. Relax and enjoy the extensive private garden and the surroundings or use the house as an excellent base for exploring The Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. The house has a pitch pine interior and open fires to enjoy as well as full central heating. The Mount is located 1/2 of a mile outside of the town of Sedbergh handy to local amenities while still being in the countryside. In the summer you may see the cows coming down the road to be be milked as The Mount is not far away from a working farm. While staying you can have fresh milk, eggs and other produce delivered to your door. There is a separate kitchen and dining room with room to accomodate everyone comfortably at the pine dining table. Downstairs there is a separate lounge and sitting room both with open fires. There is also a utility/drying room with a shower room off it downstairs ideal for when you come in after a day out. The garden is comprised mainly of grassed areas with a more formal laid out garden in front of the house for your enjoyment.
